The Australian Albanian Society of Perth Inc. hit the air waves with their first program this Friday 11th September 2009.
The Association incorporated in June 2007 with a registered office in Dianella aims to bring the Albanian Community together, assist people to find work, housing and maintain its culture by promoting regular family gatherings with a particular focus on assisting its older citizens.
The radio team will be headed up by Elvis Kopra from Dianella who is eagerly awaiting the first program hitting the airwaves this Friday 11th September 2009.
The decision to have its own radio program is a milestone in the future growth of the association.
Other radio team members are Bledar Dyrnishi from Mirrabooka, Andi Lena from Balga, Gjergyi Mullalli from Morley and Erion Dine also from Morley.
The radio team invite you to join them each and every Friday at 2:30pm for one hour of beautiful Albanian music, news, current affairs, community news and notices, requests and to share our rich cultural heritage.
We thank 6EBA World Radio for giving us this opportunity.
