CBAA Train the 6EBA Trainers

2007-07-18 02:25:21 WST
By Olivia Holmes

In March this year Mia Lauze from the Community Broadcast Association of Australia visited Perth to conduct train the trainer lessons at the Maylands 6EBA studio for 6EBA staff and other community radio staff from around the Perth metro area.

The course was a four day intensive start to the Certificate IV in work place training and assessment, which will allow 6EBA staff to become registered broadcast trainers.

The three 6EBA staff members involved in the training have recently learnt that they were successful in passing the first half of the course. The 6EBA staff are now able to start accredited broadcast training programs for volunteers at the station whilst continuing with the second half of the Certificate IV in work place training and assessment.

If you are interested in accredited broadcast training, please contact the Station Coordinator on 9227 5958.
